EKA consultation on membership structure

The England Korfball Association have produced a consultation paper on their membership structure. In particular, this discusses the option of moving to a system where individuals are members of the EKA, not clubs or areas. This would affect how membership fees are calculated. They have requested responses by 2nd May.

Supernova requires non-squad coach

Supernova are looking for a new coach for their 3rd and 4th teams, which play in London Leagues 2 and 3. This would be the perfect position for someone who is looking to gain experience in coaching.

They are looking for an enthusiastic person, who could do the following:

– Provide training that is both fun and helps develop players

– Choose teams for league games

– Work with the squad coach and the club training team to ensure a consistent coaching experience

– If possible, also run some training sessions for Club training (Weds 7 – 9 in a venue near Waterloo)

It would be helpful if you have some experience playing London Regional League level, but this is not a pre-requisite.
Non-squad training will be on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 8pm, in the Millwall Community Centre (zone 2, a 2 minute train ride from London Bridge). Remuneration will depend on experience and is negotiable.

Please contact Eiti Laure Stein at or 07565 254514 if you’re interested.
